HOW IT STARTED
GUSTO began with something very simple: we love Italian food. The kind of food that brings everyone to the table — a pizza fresh from the oven to share, a plate of pasta that tastes like it was made just for you, a glass of wine that turns dinner into an evening. We wanted that feeling here in Rawai, close to home, for our neighbours and for everyone who comes to the south of Phuket.
“Gusto” means taste in Italian — and the joy of enjoying it. That is what we cook for every day: pizzas made to order, pasta made in our own kitchen, and the classics we love most — carbonara, lasagna, burrata and tiramisu — done properly and served generously. We bring together Italian favourites like Parma ham, porcini and Italian cheeses with the best local produce from Phuket, including fresh prawns and sea bass.
Whether you live in Rawai or are on holiday in Nai Harn, Kata or Chalong, we want GUSTO to feel like your Italian neighbour: relaxed, generous and always happy to see you again.
